scary image and a very good card. But the final print is soooooo dark unless you get real close it just looks like a black blob. Glad i found it here. now i can see all the colors and objects in the scene.

I know it's not the greatest card in the world, but I love it! As far as critiques go I used the actual card as a reference and I think this very well could be a spot on rendition. Actually, when I first looked at it I thought it was the original art for the image. I like the face and the left side of the mechanical object in the back because unless my card is very foggy it looks like you had to use some imagination to bring them into the picture!

ah, this version is much nicer than what got printed on the card. They made it so dark you can't see half of the art. :/
Printers are the bane of my existence for this reason!

yeah when they sent me the artist proof it looked pretty dark. So I tried printing it out on paper and it still was. So I am thinkin coz I did not paint it in CMYK, I just stuck to the rgb color space. Next time I guess I will paint it lighter.

I have that issue pretty often, I've yet to be able to make [link] that look nice in printed form.
While we're on the subject of proofs, do you sign cards? :O
